At Cafe-Tico, we offer single origin coffee. We source our coffee from a family owned coffee producer located in Concepción de San Ramón de Alajuela, called Tío Yayo. They are the 4th generation of coffee producers. We use three types of Arabica coffee: caturra, villa Sarchí and catuai. Our coffee is honey processed, which is less acidic and sweeter in taste with honey and molasses notes, and some fruity character. The honey process, considered one of the most demanding, allows the coffee fruit to imbue the coffee some of its sweetness.  All our coffee is locally roasted in South Florida within days of consumption. 

Our cold brew is made of ultra-filtered cold water over a 24-hour period to produce some of the smoothest, sweetest flavors and a rich cup. Hot brewed coffees and espresso drinks are equally made with attention and care, to extract a rich syrup without excess contact time.
